Tickets on sale for Dancing in the Streets

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Dancing in the Streets is a little more than a week away and we've got a sneak peek at what you can expect at the annual festival.

Classic cars will again cruise the streets of downtown Lafayette.

A dozen musical acts are scheduled to perform throughout the night.

Organizers say they're expecting 20,000 people to attend.

They say that they hope it will have a big impact on the Greater Lafayette economy.

As a reminder, Dancing in the Streets takes over downtown on Saturday, July 21 from 4:00 in the afternoon to midnight.

And, of course, NewsChannel 18 will be presenting a one-hour live broadcast from downtown Lafayette during the event.

You can catch the show from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. July 21.

Advanced tickets are $5.00 and $10.00 at the gate. Children ages 5-12 are $1.00 and children four and under are free. Tickets are available online.
