WHITE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A three-car crash shut down part of US 24 west of Monticello Friday afternoon.

The crash happened around 2:15 near the intersection of 24 and County Road 300 East.

White County Sheriff's deputies said two cars stopped because another car was turning into the Lazy Oaks Trailer Park.

But, the fourth car in the line did not slow down and caused the two cars in front of it to collide.

Two drivers were taken to IU Health White Memorial Hospital with complaints of chest pain.

Deputies say the injuries are non-life threatening.

The crash is still under investigation.
