Teen arrested in Lafayette Village Pantry robbery

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Lafayette police made an arrest in a weekend robbery.

A 15-year-old teen is now in custody in connection with a robbery at the Village Pantry on Union Street. It happened just before 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 4.

Officers did not release his identity.

The teen was taken to the Tippecanoe County Juvenile Intake Center.

The investigation continues as detectives work to find a possible connection to an another Village Pantry robbery which happened just before 12:30 a.m. the same day in the 1900 block of Schuler Avenue.
