LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Good food and more than eight hours of live music from 15 different bands highlighted the "Snowsey Gras" event on Saturday.
Businesses all along Main Street celebrated with Cajun inspired specials and live music.
The event is similar to Mosey Down Main Street, and encourages people to explore what downtown Lafayette has to offer.
"We love being part of the downtown community," said Lafayette Brewing Company owner Greg Emig. "It's one of the reasons we located down here in the first place. As you can see, we have a full house. It's always a successful event that they put on and we are happy to be a part of it."
This was the first year for the Mardi Gras themed event.
