LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Lafayette Police officers said shots were fired into a home with an infant inside, just before 5 Sunday morning.
Police said the shots were fired into a home located in the 2700 block of N. 21st Street. According to police, at least three shots were fired through a window and into an interior wall of the home. Aside from the infant, four adults were inside the home at the time.
Police said no injuries occurred during the incident. According to police, evidence gathered at and near the scene is still being processed.
Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the Lafayette Police Department at (765) 476-4045.
