ATTICA, Ind. (WLFI) - A veterinarian for the Paws 'N' Claws Animal Shelter says the toxicology results for a dog believed to have been poisoned are negative.
Flynn, one of the dogs involved in the Paws 'N' Claws animal shelter break-in a few weeks ago, became violently ill just a few days after the break- in.
Veterinarian Dr. Tracy Sudlow says the shelter joined forces with a toxicologist at Purdue to test what was in Flynn's system.
Dr. Sudlow says Flynn's results showed no toxins in the body.
She says it is possible he became sick due to a bacterial infection.
Dr. Sudlow says it is possible that the stress of the break-in situation could have caused the infection.
She says Flynn is now fully recovered and is still up for adoption.
