WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - A fire damaged a storage unit in Lafayette Tuesday afternoon.

The fire happened next to the McDonalds on Sagamore Parkway East in Lafayette.

The storage unit is used for corporate use from McDonalds.

According to investigators, the building did have some minor roof damage.

Lafayette Fire Investigator Patrick Grimes said that even though the fire was put out quickly, it still caused a lot of damage.
