LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - A section of Hart Street was said to be closed all day Wednesday as crews replaced a sewer line in the area, but the work was finished and the street was back open by about 3:45 p.m.
According to the Lafayette Police Department, Waste Water Department crews were working between 15th and 16th streets on Hart Street's sewer line, closing that section of Hart.
Crews worked ahead of schedule and got the street open Wednesday before rush hour.
