Senior prank puts Central Catholic up for sale

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Anybody who drove through the intersection of Teal Road and Ninth Street Thursday evening may have noticed that Central Catholic was for sale.

The asking price? $2,013.

It was all part of a senior prank. Seniors covered the school's billboard with a "For Sale" sign. The sign read: 13 rooms, 17 bathrooms, 15 drinking fountains -- but only two work.

Senior Thomas Decker said it's all an effort to celebrate Friday night's Senior Night.

"Our principal's after us right now so hopefully we don't get in trouble, not really sure. He's not too happy. We're supposed to be taking it down as we speak," said Decker.

Decker said more pranks are to come.

If you are interested in purchasing Central Catholic, call 765-SENIORS.
