WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - West Lafayette school board members talked about the budget this week.
WLCSC's budget sits at more than $29 million for 2013.
This year the tax rate sits at 1.24 percent.
Next year's rates are advertised, for now, at 2.09 percent.
But board members said that number is estimated at a higher rate because once the corporation knows what the assessment evaluation will be, the tax rate will come down.
The board adopted the 2013 budget Wednesday evening.
