ROSSVILLE, Ind. (WLFI) - Summer is coming to an end, and one local town took the time to celebrate that Saturday.
Rossville's Summer's End Festival got off to a rocking start Friday evening. The festival then continued all day Saturday.
It's an annual tradition for Rossville, going back more than 25 years. Festival-goers, like Larry Rodkey, said it's a way to say 'thank you' to the town they love.
"The success of this has been phenomenal," said Rodkey. "So, yea, it's bringing people into Rossville, we love our community, we're all hometown here, and so it's been really, really good."
Events on Saturday included a parade, car and bike show, golf scramble, music concert and fireworks. All proceeds raised will help provide scholarships to graduating Rossville High School seniors next spring.
