LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - The Lafayette Brawlin' dolls roller derby team had their last bout of the season. Team members said it was filled with blood, sweat and even some tears.
"We have a lot of new girls. Totally filled out our team and we've really grown. I 'm really proud of our season," said team member Dreaded Thunder.
"At the beginning we had a lot of fresh meat. a lot of girls couldn't even skate. Next season should be even better," said team member Kitty Crossbones.
"We've been out promoting our last bout. We just wanted all of our friends and family to be here tonight. It's the best Halloween party ever," said Thunder.
"The team is family all year around. We practice during the off-season. It doesn't stop," added Crossbones.
"We do everything together and it really is a family," added Thunder.
The Brawlin' Dolls will be back in action starting in the spring.
