Indiana (WLFI) - U.S. Representative Todd Rokia is holding Congress on Your Corner events on Saturday, July 28 in Monticello and Frankfort.

He will also be holding a town hall meeting on Monday, August 6 in Danville.

Constituents are invited to meet Rokita to discuss issues facing Indiana and the nation, including the current tax code.

“There’s a big debate coming over the pending tax increases at the end of the year, and I’ve been working with my colleagues to stop the tax hike. And beyond that, we need to have a broader national discussion about reforming our tax code to make it simpler, flatter and fairer,” said Rokita. “I look forward to productive discussions with Hoosiers about these and other critical issues facing our republic.”

The Monticello Congress on Your Corner is Saturday, July 28 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the White County Courthouse on 110 N. Main Street.

The Frankfort Congress on Your Corner is Saturday, July 28 from 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Clinton County Courthouse on 320 Courthouse Square.

The town hall meeting in Danville is Monday, August 6 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds on 1900 East Main Street.
