BOONE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - A semitrailer carrying a large load of hay caught fire on Interstate 65 Wednesday morning, shutting down northbound lanes in part of Boone County.
The incident began around 10:30 a.m. and northbound lanes were still closed as of around 2 p.m. The fire was near the 148-mile marker. Police officials say no one was injured.
Indiana State Police officials said northbound traffic was being diverted onto U.S. 52. Once on U.S. 52, drivers could take State Road 28 to get back onto I-65.
