ROME, Italy (WLFI) - A group of Purdue students studying abroad get to witness history.
Kristen Clark, Abby Diebolt, Baily Altman, and Heather Smith spoke via Skype with News 18 Friday evening from Italy. They're there as part of a week-long study abroad trip with the College of Agriculture.
It just so happened the trip coincided with the election of Pope Francis. They were in the Vatican when he was announced and said the experience was awesome.
The students return to the States Saturday.
