WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Congratulations go out to Purdue student Merrie-Beth Cox who is the new Miss Indiana.
The 21-year-old was crowned Saturday night in Zionsville.
She previously held the title of Miss Duneland.
The Boilermaker is majoring in physical education and she will represent the Hoosier State in the Miss America Pageant in Las Vegas in January.
Her platform is Overcoming Challenges.
3rd runner-up at the Miss Indiana Pageant was Miss Purdue University, 22-year-old Brittany Smith.
