WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Due to the vegetable oil spill, local authorities tell News 18 there will be lane closures and restrictions all day Monday.

Police said the westbound lanes of Sagamor Parkway between Schuyler Avenue and Duncan Road in Lafayette will be closed temporarily for cleaning.

Once that area is clean, they will close the westbound lanes of Sagamore from Duncan to the end of the construction project.

In West Lafayette, lane restrictions are possible from the Wabash River Bridge to Yeager Road.

Also, in Tippecanoe County, drivers should be aware of possible lane restrictions on State Road 25 from Interstate 65 to County Road 300 North.

Police urge drivers to plan accordingly for the morning commute.
