MONTICELLO, Ind. (WLFI) - The rainy, cold conditions put a damper on a popular festival in White County Friday night.

The Pork n' Pumpkin Festival in downtown Monticello was canceled for the evening because of the weather. The festival kicked off last night and was supposed to continue Friday night.

Singer Grant Reiff and the band New Moon Groove were supposed to perform. Those performances have been pushed back until Saturday when the festival will begin again and run until 5 o'clock Sunday evening.

Some of the weekend events include live music, a water skiing show, and a pumpkin carving contest.
