LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Lafayette police said someone stole a Lafayette snow plow from a gas station Wednesday night.

Sgt. Perry Amos said the operator of the truck stopped at a gas station on Ninth and Ferry streets. While he was inside, somebody jumped in the truck and drove off.

The person drove the truck to 11th and Brown streets and stopped. He or she then fled on foot.

Investigators said nobody got a glance at the person, so they do not have a good description of the suspect. If you have any information about the case, call the Lafayette Police Department at (765) 807-1200.
