TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - There are more than 600 food establishments in Tippecanoe County. But not all are equally clean.
David Drinan, Chief of Food for the Tippecanoe County Health Department, said perfection is a tough standard. He added the biggest factor separating clean ones from dirty ones is often management.
"If he (or she) has a pro-health, pro-food safety attitude, it's going to be reflected in his help," Drinan said.
Tune in Wednesday at 6:00 and 11:00 p.m. for part 2 of 'Dirty Restaurants' where Drinan explains some of the tools available for food inspectors to get dirty establishments to clean up their acts.
