One driver dies after two-car collision

CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A two-car accident in Carroll County left one person dead Friday morning.

The Carroll County Sheriff's Office received the 911 call Thursday evening just before 9:30 p.m. Once deputies arrived at State Road 25 near County Road 600 West, they discovered one of the drivers was trapped in his or her vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle was found to be seriously injured.

Both drivers were taken to a local hospital where one was pronounced dead.

The names of the drivers won't be released until family members are notified.

The accident remains under investigation.
