LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Lafayette police said a group of motorcyclists were crossing the South Street Bridge into Lafayette Sunday night, when one cyclist lost control of his motorcycle while trying to brake.
Officers said 36-year-old Joseph Lynn Younker of Battle Ground ran into the curve and hit his head on the guardrail. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The South Street Bridge will be closed for an unknown amount of time.
The accident remains under investigation.
