New Richmond now has water

    NEW RICHMOND, Ind. (WLFI) - New Richmond was without water for about 5 hours Wednesday, said Ramon Knutti, town superintendent.

    New Richmond received a grant for new water mains. They cut off water to the old system to test the new one. Water was restored to the old system because the town is not completely transferring it yet.

    A boil order will be in effect until at least Friday.

    A boil order is also still in effect for Wingate until further notice.
