LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - The new superintendent of Lafayette School Corporation (LSC) takes office Monday.
Les Huddle was in his superintendent's chair for the first time Monday morning.
Huddle comes to Lafayette after spending the last part of his professional career in Illinois.
Huddle said he is excited to be a part of the Lafayette community.
He said that excitement caused him to arrive at the LSC Administration Building a little early in the morning.
“I was up relatively early this morning, kind of ready to get in. But I didn't have a key, so I had to wait until we opened. I have my key now and I'll be here every day from now on,” said Huddle.
Huddle replaces Dr. Ed Eiler who was superintendent for seventeen years.
