More than 1,500 people without power

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Duke Energy reported on their website more than 1,500 people were without power for a short time Monday morning in Tippecanoe County.

The power came back on about 12:30 p.m. A burning wire on a power line caused the outage a little after 10:30 a.m., according to Duke Energy.
