MONTICELLO, Ind. (WLFI) - The Monticello Fire Department responded to a call of a mobile home fire north of Monticello around 8:30 Wednesday morning.

After the fire department arrived, it only took about 5 minutes to extinguish the fire.

There was no one home at the time, but neighbors said there have been people gradually moving their possessions out of the trailer over the past couple of months.

The Monticello Fire Department and the White County Sheriff's Department said the fire was set intentionally and is under investigation.

The fire department is still attempting to find the owner of the mobile home.

One fireman received second degree burns to his face, but is expected to be just fine.
