LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - A man died after running his motorcycle into the back of a car on Wednesday.
Lafayette police said around 9:00 p.m. on June 13, 40-year-old Chad Pancake of West Lafayette hit the rear of a passenger car.
Pancake fell off the motorcycle and was taken to St. Elizabeth East Hospital for head injuries.
Pancake was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Pancake was pronounced dead on Friday morning due to the injuries he received in the accident.
Toxicology tests are pending from the Tippecanoe County Coroner.
The driver of the car involved in the crash was not injured, but was issued a ticket for driving with a suspended license.
