ROSSVILLE, Ind. (WLFI) - A man was airlifted from a crash late Thursday night in Clinton County.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. on Delphi Road in Rossville.
A Clinton County Sheriff’s deputy said officers were called to Treece’s Restaurant and Lounge around 10:20 p.m. for a report of a fight, but two of the men involved heard deputies were coming, and took off in a white truck.
Investigators said as the truck went around a curve on Delphi Road, the truck flipped and crashed into the gates of Rossville Cemetery.
After an initial investigation, deputies said speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash.
One of the men in the truck was unresponsive after the crash and was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital. The other man was taken to IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. The severity of his injuries is unknown.
The names of the men involved are not being released at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
