LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Amelia Earhart Elementary School was closed Monday after an area of the school was flooded with nearly two inches of water over the weekend.
School officials said numerous teachers and employees came Sunday to assess the damage and clean up the area.
They assessed the situation Monday evening and determined it is safe to return kids to the school Tuesday.
