LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - The Lafayette School Corporation trustees approved a partnership Monday night with the Tippecanoe School Corporation for the Health and Wellness Centers, which opened up a year ago for eligible employees.
The city district will pay $102,000 as reimbursement for start-up costs for TSC. The corporations will split ongoing monthly expenses for rent and utilities. But health care costs will be separated based on which district the employee works for.
Officials hope combining resources will allow the both locations to remain open five days a week, instead of the current two and a half days at either location.
