Logansport Memorial Hospital names CEO

LOGANSPORT, Ind. (WLFI) - Logansport Memorial Hospital (LMH) will soon see new a chief executive officer (CEO).

David Ameen will officially become president and CEO at the hospital's August 23 board meeting.

Ameen holds a Master of Science degree in Health Services Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.

Interim CEO Alan Biggs will now return to his role as Chief Operating Officer in mid-October once Ameen begins his new role.

“David’s knowledge of free standing hospitals, financial management, strategic planning, quality, physician relations and the insurance industry is a great fit for us at this time,” said Todd Weinstein, MD, Chairman of the Logansport Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees.

Ameen and his wife plan to move to Cass County this fall.
