Woman loses control of her car on 25 N

Tippecanoe County police say a Delphi woman was lucky to walk away from a wild ride tonight.

The Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Department says 18-year-old Genie Brandt was headed north on State Road 25 near Stair Road when she lost control of her car.

Brandt's car landed on its side after sliding down a steep embankment, but she walked away with only minor injuries.

She was taken to Saint Elizabeth Central for treatment.
