A house in Linden needs to be torn down.
A car crashed into the side of the building at around 4:00 p.m. on Thursday afternoon.
Linden Town Marshal Jim Heisel said the crash occured when the driver, 24-year-old Blake Strong of Linden, fell asleep behind the wheel.
Police said Strong ran off the road and into a house at 104 North Main Street, knocking it completely off its foundation.
Though the house's chimney toppled over onto on top of the vehicle, Strong was not injured.
Strong's car was totaled, however.
Heisel says the house was vacant, and will be torn down.
Strong was cited after the crash for driving while suspended with a prior conviction and no proof of insurance.
