LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Volunteer fire fighters were able to extinguish a Lafayette house fire early Tuesday morning.
The Wea Township Volunteer Fire Department said the fire started just after midnight in the ceiling of a home at 2204 Aberdeen Way. Everyone was safely evacuated.
The firefighters were able to put out the flames quickly; they said the house sustained some smoke and water damage. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
