Steve Buyer to hold Lafayette Town Hall

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WLFI) - Congressman Steve Buyer will hold a town hall meeting in Lafayette on Saturday, September 12.  The meeting is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the Multi Purpose Room of the Faith Community Center.

Buyer said he will use the forum to collect feedback from Hoosiers on matters before Congress.  The town hall meeting will come two days after president Barack Obama addresses the nation on health care reform. 

Buyer said "the open microphone format of the meeting will allow constituents to discuss any issue they wish to bring up during the town hall."  Buyer held his first town hall meeting of the year on August 25 in Danville, Indiana.

The Faith Community Center is at 5526 East State Road 26 in Lafayette.
