Shots were fired at a vehicle near US 52 and Schuyler Avenue in Lafayette.
Police say the shooting happened around 5:00 a.m. Sunday.
The police were notified by the victim that someone driving a gold Chevy Blazer was shooting at their car.
The Lafayette Police Department responded with assistance from the Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Department.
Officers located the suspect vehicle in the 2000 block of Greenbush Street.
Police said three Hispanic males were taken into custody for questioning. Numerous bullet holes were found in the victim's vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing. The names of all parties involved are not being released at this time. No one was injured in the incident.
