Center Host 2nd annual Family Fun Night

It's Community Health Center Week and one local health organization celebrated with a family-friendly event.

Riggs Community Health Center hosted the 2nd annual Family Fun Night. This free event featured many booths from local social service agencies. For the kids, they had face painting and moonwalks.
 

Community Relations Coordinator Stephanie Bossung (Bossing) says the economic climate is increasing the number of people they see come through the doors.

"Everyday we get more and more calls from people who have not been in the situation of losing their health insurance due to the economic downturn with local layoffs and so we're really seeing a rise in those people who now qualify for our programs and are calling for the first time."
