ATV rider suffers head trauma in his own yard

A Carroll County man is dead after an ATV accident in his own yard.
The Carroll County Sheriff Department said 44-year-old Kenneth Callane of Flora was riding his ATV at 948 N. 50 E. near Flora.
Police said the ATV flipped on top of Callane. He suffered major trauma to the head.
He was airlifted to Indianapolis but was pronounced dead at Methodist Hospital.
Police do not believe that alcohol was related.
