CLINTON CO., Ind. (WLFI) - A Frankfort man is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Clinton County.
Police say around 1:00 a.m. 39-year-old David Joseph was driving southbound on County Road 130 West when he left the roadway and struck a pole.
The impact flipped the car and left the vehicle in the middle of the road.
Joseph's car was then struck by a second vehicle driven by 18-year-old Amber Trent, also of Frankfort.
Police say Trent was unable to see Joseph's vehicle in the dark.
She refused medical treatment at the scene.
Joseph was transported to St. Vincent Hospital in Frankfort, where he was later pronounced dead.
An accident reconstructionist from the Boone County Sheriff's Office was called to the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
