Crash of manure semi closes SR 218

CAMDEN, Ind. (WLFI) - The Carroll County Sheriff's Department said State Road 218 was closed east of Camden near Meridian Line Road after a semi crashed early Tuesday afternoon.

The highway was closed for nearly seven hours but re-opened around 7:20 p.m.

The driver of the semi was not injured, but police have closed the highway to clean up the wreck.

The semi was carrying a load of manure at the time of the crash, which necessitated an extended clean-up period.
