BURROWS, Ind. (WLFI) - Police say a Peru man died instantly in a crash near Burrows in Carroll County this morning.

Indiana State Police Sergeant Kim Riley said a Dodge Charger, driven by 28-year-old Brian Jobe of Peru, was northbound on State Road 25 near Burrows.

Riley says Jobe attempted to pass a semi ahead of him in the northbound lane and was hit head on by a second semi in the southbound lane.

That second semi was driven by 59-year-old Kenneth D. Pass of Goshen.

Pass was taken to Logansport Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The crash happened just before 8:00 a.m. this morning.

State Road 25 was closed for two hours.
