Semi overturns in cornfield

BROOKSTON, Ind. (WLFI) - A semi driver was trapped in his cab after an early-morning crash on State Road 18.

Indiana State Police said the driver left the road between Interstate 65 and County Road 500 W. in Brookston early Thursday morning.

The semi turned on its side in a cornfield.

Indiana State Police and White County sheriff's deputies were able to get the driver out of the cab. He had some minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for observation.
