LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Downtown Lafayette was overtaken by hundreds of people in
tie-dye and bellbottoms, all celebrating a special Mosey Down Main
Street.
"It was a time that everyone get into music and we had a great old time. And we're just celebrating that, a time of freedom of expression," said Ken McCammon.
"I loved the music. Even though I wasn't a Woodstock hippie, I did relate to the music. I loved it. And it's still the best music going. That's what they say about us baby boomers, we never got over the 60's," said Beth Goodman.
"Those people who are down here, dressed up celebrating the
past. I think it's just another way of having a good time
here in Lafayette," said Chas Dela.
