LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - The Lafayette YMCA just got a big donation toward a new project.

The Lafayette Savings Bank announced Thursday a $50,000 gift toward a new 175,000-square-foot building.

The building, which is planned to be built within the Ivy Tech campus, will house the YMCA, Junior Achievement and an IU Health Arnett clinical practice.

The building is part of the Intersection Connection Project and will feature two new swimming pools equipped with rock climbing walls that will allow swimmers to climb up and then dive back in.

For more information, you can head to the website for the Intersection Connection or contact the Lafayette Family YMCA's Paul Cramer at 765-474-3448.
