LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - It’s a must, each and every year: Getting your annual dose of delicious Girl Scout cookies. And once again this cookie season, area troops are getting you your cookies the best way possible: a drive-thru.
Local Girl Scouts are holding a cookie drive-thru starting Saturday, Feb. 2, and every Saturday and Sunday after that until the end of February. From the hours of 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. you can head to the Creasy Lane and State Road 26 Walgreens to support a great program without even leaving your car.
All eight cookie flavors will be available, including the newer lemon Savannah Smiles, introduced last year, and the most popular Thin Mints, Do-Si-Dos and Tag Alongs.
Cookies are $3.50 per box. Watch our attached video to hear from local Girl Scouts about why they decided to bring back their drive-thru.
