LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Democrat Vi Simpson, John Gregg's pick for lieutenant governor, made a stop in Lafayette Thursday evening.
Simpson met with supporters at Sylvia's Brick Oven on Columbia Street.
She said the Gregg-Simpson ticket will focus on jobs, the economy and education.
“We're out every day talking about issues like job creation, economic development and education. The importance of education, not only K-12 education, but preschool opportunities for kids and affordable college opportunities for all of our children,” Simpson said.
John Gregg and Vi Simpson will face Republican Mike Pence and Libertarian Rupert Boneham in November's general election.
