LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Lafayette's chief of police is retiring from the force and taking on a new position in higher education.
Chief Don Roush announced Monday his plans to leave the department for a job with the Krannert School of Management at Purdue.
Roush said he will be the Associate Director of the Weekend MBA program.
Roush has spent 26 years in law enforcement and more than eight years in his current role as chief.
His new job at Purdue starts Nov. 1.
