Lafayette man pleads guilty to child porn possession

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - 20-year-old Anthony Thompson of Lafayette has pleaded guilty to a federal charge of possession of child pornography.

Investigators said in September 2010 they connected an email with 36 images of child pornography to Thompson.

A search warrant later found other emails with more images of child porn attached, as well as offers to trade and requests for more images.

Thompson was indicted in federal court in March 2011 on ten charges related to child pornography.

His sentence will be determined at a later date by a federal judge.
