LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Lafayette police said remnants of a meth lab were discovered on a trail Friday afternoon.
A nearby resident called it in about 2:30 p.m. on a trail behind Duroc Court, near Beck Lane and Poland Hill Road in Lafayette.
Indiana State police was called in to dispose of the trash. Detectives said there's no telling how long it had been sitting there.
Lafayette police are investigating the incident.
Meanwhile, they remind all citizens to call police if they see strange bottles, tubes, or bags of chemicals on a trail, in the woods, or anywhere else.
