GREATER LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - If you’re interested in participating in a May career fair – whether you’re an employer or an applicant – you’re asked to sign up now.

The May 1 Greater Lafayette Career Fair will be held at the National Guard Armory at 5280 Haggerty Lane in Lafayette. There will be a shuttle service available from and returning to Walmart on State Road 26 East.

The fair is open exclusively for military veterans and their families from 10 a.m. to noon and to the public from noon to 3 p.m.

Greater Lafayette Commerce (GLC) is sponsoring the fair along with WorkOne West Central and the ESGR (Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve).

“We are expecting top employers from Tippecanoe and surrounding counties to participate,” GLC Economic Development Program Manager Lauren Davis said. “Employers will be recruiting, screening and hiring qualified candidates.”

The fair is open to anyone interested in changing careers, finding new opportunities or exploring employment options.
